Short Bio

Fangyanuo Zhou (preferred name: Noah Zhou) is an undergraduate at South China University of Technology (SCUT), enrolled in a dual degree program with a major in Software Engineering and a minor in Business Administration (2023.9 – 2027.6). He ranks 1st in his grade, with a weighted average score of 92.24/100 and a GPA of 3.95/4.00. His research interests span fake news detection, social computing, AI for Business, health and medical AI, recommender systems, multi-agent systems, LLM value alignment, multimodal learning, and computer vision.

He currently works as a research assistant with Prof. Quanyi Zou on interdisciplinary research at the intersection of news communication and large models, and with Prof. Yuanyuan Dang on a multimodal AI mental health coaching system and AIGC medical case generation. He has co-authored a multimodal MoE fake news detection paper accepted by IEEE Transactions on Consumer Electronics [PDF], with one paper under review (counterfactual contrastive explanations for smart-contract vulnerability detection), another in progress, and a patent pending.
